Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: April 17, 2026

In plain English

Don't break the law, don't attack our systems, don't misrepresent who you are, and respect other users of the marketplace. We will suspend accounts that violate these rules.

1. Applicability

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who accesses Weedus - Customer accounts, invited team members, and trading partners who transact with a Customer through the platform. Violating the AUP is a material breach of the Terms of Service.

2. Compliance with law and license conditions

You must comply with all laws, regulations, and license conditions that apply to your business, including the rules of your state cannabis regulator (for Washington customers, the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board). You may not use Weedus to transact with any party you are not authorized to transact with under your license.

You may not use Weedus to facilitate any sale, transfer, or delivery of cannabis products to a consumer.

3. Prohibited content and conduct

You may not:

  • Misrepresent yourself, your business, your license status, or your authority to act.
  • Upload or transmit content that infringes intellectual-property rights, defames a third party, or violates privacy or publicity rights.
  • Upload malicious code, spam, or any material that could compromise the service or its users.
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users based on any protected characteristic.
  • Use Weedus to market products or services to consumers (the platform is B2B-only).

4. Security restrictions

You may not:

  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without our written permission.
  • Circumvent authentication, rate-limiting, or any access control in the platform.
  • Scrape or systematically extract data beyond your own organization's scope.
  • Use automation (bots, headless browsers) to place orders or interact with the marketplace, unless you are using a supported Weedus API with credentials issued to you.

Security researchers who identify a vulnerability in good faith should email hello@weedus.app with details. We will respond within 5 business days and we will not pursue legal action against good-faith reporters.

5. Marketplace conduct

Vendors and retailers must deal honestly with one another: accurate product listings, accurate manifests, realistic delivery commitments, and prompt resolution of disputes. Persistent bad- faith behavior - missed deliveries, chargebacks to gain inventory, inaccurate COAs - is grounds for suspension.

6. Enforcement

If we believe you have violated this AUP, we may (at our discretion and proportionate to the severity of the violation) warn you, restrict specific features, suspend the account, or terminate the account. Where possible we will give you an opportunity to cure; where regulatory or safety issues are implicated, we may act immediately.

7. Reporting violations

To report a violation of this AUP by another user, email hello@weedus.app. Reports in good faith are taken seriously and handled confidentially where reasonable.
