Terms of Service
Last updated: April 17, 2026
In plain English
These Terms govern your use of Weedus. By creating an account, you agree to them on behalf of your business. They cover acceptable use, billing, data handling, and how we handle changes or termination.
1. Who these Terms apply to
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“Customer”, “you”) and Autosterea LLC d/b/a Weedus (“Weedus”, “we”, “us”). If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to bind that company.
The Weedus platform is a business-to-business marketplace for licensed cannabis retailers and vendors operating in regulated U.S. state markets. It is not intended for consumer use or for use by any party that is not properly licensed in its jurisdiction.
2. Account eligibility and team access
You represent that (a) you hold a valid cannabis license in the jurisdiction where you operate, (b) the license number you submit to Weedus is accurate and current, and (c) all team members you invite are employees or contractors authorized to act on your behalf. You are responsible for your team's actions on the platform.
Weedus supports role-based access with Owner, Manager, and Budtender roles. The Owner who creates an account is ultimately responsible for billing and for keeping team membership accurate.
3. Fees, billing, and the 30-day money-back window
Subscription fees, setup fees, and any usage-based pass-throughs (such as POSaBIT per-location fees) are described on our pricing page. Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cadence you choose at signup. Annual plans are prepaid. Where a service requires one-time integration setup (for example, POSaBIT), that setup is quoted individually and invoiced separately.
30-day money-back guarantee. If you cancel within 30 days of your first paid charge, we will refund that charge in full on request. After the 30-day window, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Taxes, if any, are your responsibility. We will add them to your invoice where we are required to collect them.
4. Acceptable use
Your use of Weedus is additionally governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend access if we reasonably believe you are violating that policy, a court order, or applicable law.
5. Customer data and confidentiality
You retain ownership of all data you submit to Weedus (“Customer Data”). You grant us a non-exclusive license to use Customer Data solely to provide and improve the service. How we handle Customer Data, including when we process personal information on your behalf, is described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.
6. Service availability
We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime on core ordering, delivery, and inventory-sync functions. Planned maintenance windows will be announced in advance. We are not liable for unavailability caused by third-party providers (e.g., POSaBIT, Stripe, SendGrid) or by factors outside our reasonable control.
7. Termination
You may cancel at any time from the billing settings in the app. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period except where the 30-day money-back window applies. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms or of the Acceptable Use Policy after reasonable notice, or immediately for regulatory or safety reasons.
On termination, we will make Customer Data available for export for 30 days and then delete it according to our retention schedule.
8. Warranties and disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
Except for breaches of confidentiality, violations of the Acceptable Use Policy, or indemnification obligations, each party's total liability arising out of these Terms is capped at the fees paid by Customer in the 12 months preceding the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Changes to these Terms
We will notify you by email and/or in-app banner of any material change at least 30 days before it takes effect. Non-material changes (typo fixes, clarifications) take effect when posted.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Exclusive venue lies in the state and federal courts sitting in King County, Washington.
